Areas of action

Learn how we work to promote educational equity

Education and holistic development

We want knowledge to be accessible to every girl, boy, and young person in Istmina, which is why we provide a variety of resources to support their education and personal development.

Sustainable Development and Environmental Culture

We recognize the importance of caring for the environment to ensure a sustainable future in which the conservation of natural resources is a priority.

Memory, Culture, and Civic Engagement

Building and strengthening a community is essential for developing one’s own identity and recognizing the knowledge, practices, and insights that can be contributed to a multicultural and democratic dialogue.

Libraries, Reading, and Knowledge

We believe that access to written culture is essential for human development. That is why one of our core principles is the promotion of reading, writing, and oral storytelling through a network of specialized library spaces.
